Welcome to the APress System Resource Document[]

This is a temporary online player's handbook and GM resource site that can be used to play APress as designed by Dalton McCay and Drew Sapundjieff. Please do not edit any of the pages, they are made for looking. If you find a typo or have questions about the content, message us directly, or leave a note on the page without editing the information in question. Thank you, and have fun playing our game!

The APress System[]

Was created over the course of several years to be an alternative to Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, or any of the other rather limiting tabletop role-playing systems out there. It was designed to create many varying characters in any setting through the unique grid-based progression system. There are no classes in APress, your character's role is made up of any of the hundreds of Talents, Abilities, and Spell Components available for purchase with various points as your character gains levels. Instead of using defined actions, APress uses an Action Point system to maximize action economy in each round of combat, and produce a real depth of tactics and strategy. Feel free to look around and view our rules, it will be free forever.

If you need a place to start, try going to the Character Creation page and poking around.
